Everything You Need to Know About Working as an Arise Agent!
What is Arise?
Arise is a virtual call center platform that connects independent business owners (IBOs) with various companies seeking customer service, sales, or technical support.
How does it work?
As an agent, you work independently from home, providing services to clients through the Arise platform.
What kind of work do agents do?
Agents handle various tasks, including customer service inquiries, sales calls, chat pf support, and technical support. Arise partners with Clients from a wide range of industries, such as telecommunications, retail, healthcare, and finance. The type of work is Call Center work so it is data entry and communicating with the customer over the phone or via chat. There are NO COLD CALLS, NO DEBT CALLS, and NO TELEMARKETING of any kind.
How many hours can I work per week?
You are able to work as many hours as you like. Usually, clients require a minimum of 15 hours per week, including the minimum required weekend hours (if applicable) per your selected client.
Will I be an employee or an independent contractor?
You will be working with T&D LLC as a 1099 Independent Contractor, not and employee. Please consult a tax professional to ensure an understanding of your obligations as a self-employed individual.
What Equipment Will I Need?
Typically, requirements include a desktop computer with a reliable internet connection running windows 10 or 11, a quiet workspace, USB headset, and excellent communication skills.
Do I need any specific certifications to become and agent?
While certifications and experience can be beneficial, they are not always required. Arise offers comprehensive training and certification programs to equip agents with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. These programs are designed to ensure that agents are prepared to handle various customer interactions effectively and professionally.
Is it temporary?
Clients offer seasonal and permanent positions throughout the year.
How are payments made?
Payments are typically made on a bi-weekly basis via ACH Debit.
How much can I make?
You can make between $10 to $19 per hour plus bonuses and incentives, depending upon the client and your performance. Some Client Support Professionals (CSP's) or Call Center Agents may decide to service more than one client to further maximize their earning potential. This is a personal decision, but it is possible as long as the CSP or Call Center Agent is able to meet the goals/expectations (metrics) provided by the client(s).
How soon can I start earning an income?
Upon successful completion of the registration process, your next step will be to enroll in the client certification course of your choice. Client courses may take as little as three weeks or as long as eight weeks to complete depending on the client program selected.
Are there any restrictions?
Indivuals under the age of 18. Individuals who are not eligible to work in the United States.
Individuals who live in the following states:
California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Illinois, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Maryland
Individuals with a criminal record: Depending on the nature of the criminal record, it may disqualify individuals from working as Arise agents. All background check will cost $30.00 and last for 36 months unless a client specific program has a different requirement.
